The Eileen coffee press is a tribute to designer Eileen Gray and is built to withstand the rigors and crowds of a cafe in Paris–the city that Gray loved most. To use the Columbia press for coffee, grind fresh beans to a coarse consistency, add 2 tablespoons of coffee for every 6 ounces of water, then add hot water and brew for four to five minutes before plunging the press.
