LandShark Pound-In Landscape Edging is an innovative new landscape border from Dimex that provides a easier solution to traditional coiled edging. LandShark Pound-In Edging is easy to install right out of the box. No excessive straightening or heating in the sun to make it flexible. Works great for both straight and curved landscape designs. LandShark Pound-In Edging has a durable straight wall design. There is no unsightly hollow beaded top. Everything included to do a 20 ft. installation. For installation remove from box and uncoil. Lay edging along desired layout. For best installation results it is recommended to score the ground with a hand shovel or flat spade shovel. Using a rubber mallet hammer on top edge to desired depth. Connection sleeve is included for installations involving multiple coil lengths. If the ground is hard and compacted it is recommended to wet installation area prior to installation.

Installation
Grass Barrier is typically installed 6″ below the soil with a 4″ lip left above ground. Dig a narrow trench 6″ deep around the perimeter of the flower bed, install Grass Barrier vertically and backfill the trench with soil to secure. Work in a linear fashion from one end to the other when back-filling, alternating sides when tamping the dirt to keep Grass Barrier straight and prevent waving. If the material needs to be cut or trimmed this can be done easily with a sharp utility knife. Depending on your exact installation this may be adjusted. Most transverse grass roots typically run in the first 6 inches of soil.

Tip: Prior to installation, lay Grass Barrier out in the sun. This will relax the material making it easier to work with.

Our long lasting barrier is made in the USA from 100% recycled HDPE. Grass Barrier is not brittle like injection molded material and does not splinter like fiber and composites. Our barrier has a smooth surface for a clean appearance and doesn’t hold dirt. We use 100% HDPE plastic so our product will never rust like metal edging. Grass Shield can last over 100 years & has an ASTM D 4833 puncture resistance of 200 pound-force.
