DO NOT throw the silverware sharp side into the utensils basket, the sharp side point up, though our plastic surface is 4mm thick, if throw the sharp items into the dish rack or basket, the protective plastic coated surface will be broken bit by bit even though it have 4mm thick. That is the main reason why the plastic peeled off and the dish rack go rust quickly
3. DO NOT put in dishwasher, we are sorry to tell you that our dish rack is not dishwasher safe. Any kind dish rack, if it is not made of stainless steel, it would go rust soon if put in dishwasher.
