The ETS 125 is a super smooth 5 inch random orbit sander for those seeking fine finishing results without swirl marks. Equipped with Festool’s Jetstream dust extraction system for highly efficient dust removal. The Jetstream system can extend abrasive life by up to 30% while keeping both the workpiece and the work environment free of dust. Jetstream creates airflow into, across, and through the pad and abrasive. Suction is applied to the outer periphery of holes and draw air from the center of the pad which draws air from outside the pad on it’s edges. This creates a circulating effect that moves more air and therefore removes more dust. Jetstream pads and abrasives use the Festool StickFix adhesive system for quick and easy abrasive changes and allow for abrasive discs to be reused. With the dual mode power activation, the user chooses either a tool activated or manual activated start-up. This CT (Cleantec) unit is extremely mobile, with a sturdy chassis, extra large low abrasion rear tires, and double swivel casters up front to easily negotiate any obstacle. The CT26 dust extractor can be secured in place with a single point foot brake. The filter bags have even been redesigned to be self cleaning. These bags inflate and deflate with the cycling of the unit for maximum suction force and efficiency. An integrated hose garage has been added for easy hose storage. As with all Festool dust extractors, the CT26 utilizes the Sys-Dock system that facilitates the use/storage of one or more Systainers to the top of the unit. That is why the CT 26 is equipped with tool-triggered auto start functionality so that when you plug your tool into the supplied outlet socket, the vacuum cycles with the tool. Variable suction force allows you to regulate the suction based on your tasks. A small detail sander may not require the full 137 CFM of this unit, but a router may require it. This unit comes standard our new self-cleaning bag which prevents dust particles from caking inside the bag which reduces suction. We further optimize efficiency with the low-profile, flat-top design that allows the CT top to double as a tool rest as well as an integrated hose garage and docking station that allows the connection of Festool Systainers (not included) for easy transport and storage.
