2.Our filtration systems are made of 304 stainless steel which will not rust. If the filtration system bolt turns black(look like rusted), it is not rust but coffee stains. This happens when you soak coffee in the container for a long time. It can be cleaned by soaking in acidic liquids (vinegar, lemon juice, etc.) for a while. Then the stain will fall off and revert back to a new look.

Simple Operation
1. Add coffee grounds
2. Add water at 95 degrees centigrade/200 degrees Fahrenheit
3. Let the coffee grounds steep for about 5 minutes
4. Slowly push down the plunger unit
5. Pour the coffee out into a cup

The double-wall of stainless steel adds thermal properties to keep your coffee or tea hot for a longer period of time! This French press is polished to a mirror-finish, has a large comfortable handle, and is dishwasher-safe. The 3-part stainless steel plunger has a fine mesh filter, which allows for a premium extraction of your coffee’s aromatic oils and subtle flavors. A mesh filter allows this flavor to be delivered direct to your cup and not absorbed by a paper filter. Plus, no paper filter means no waste! The patented safety lid prevents the splashing of liquids while pressing. All parts are dishwasher safe. Available in 12 cup (1.5 l, 51 oz.) and 8 cup (1.0 l, 34 oz.) size models.

The durable and heat-resistant glass beaker is partially encased by the plastic frame of the New Kenya coffee maker. The frame covers a part of the sides and bottom of the beaker, making it safe for the tabletop without using a trivet or coaster. Simple to use, the French press is a proven method for brewing flavorful and balance coffee. Coffee is measured in 4 oz. cups, so our 4-cup press will brew 17 oz., serving three to four people. For best results, use coarse ground coffee. Just add the appropriate amount of ground coffee to the beaker (we recommend one 7 gram scoop per 4 oz. of water). Fill the beaker with hot water (just off of a boil). Leave about an inch from the top of the beaker. Give the coffee a stir with a plastic or wooden utensil to mix it completely with the water. Set the plunger and lid unit in place with the safety lid in the closed position. Allow the coffee to brew for 4-minutes and then press. Turn the safety lid to the open position, serve and enjoy. Clean up is easy too – just scoop out the grounds with a rubber spatula and rinse the beaker and filter. There is no paper or additional filter required. The 3-part stainless steel filter system is built right into the press. The stay cool handle is built right into the sturdy New Kenya frame. All parts are dishwasher safe.
